Questions

What is Client Outreach powered by FitGridAI (beta)?

Client Outreach powered by FitGridAI (beta) is a communication tool for fitness studios that leverages AI generative text to create personalized messages quickly and easily.

The feature builds on existing segmentation provided by Client Outreach - which places customers into segments - and extends this functionality by automatically writing messages based on various parameters outlined below.

How does Client Outreach powered by FitGridAI (beta) work?

Messages automatically created by Client Outreach powered by FitGrid AI (beta) are partially influenced by 4 primary components:

  1. Client Segmentation (pre-built) - Based on customer traits such as exhibiting decreasing frequency of visits or the expiration date of a package

  2. Client Data (pre-built) - Based on purchases made and visits to the studio, as well as other information such as a favorite instructor or class type.

  3. Message Goal (configurable) - Message Goal provides the ability to select or change the message goal as needed. See message goals detail below.

  4. Message Tone (configurable) - Message Tone provides the ability to select or change a tone or “personality” of the message being written. See examples below.

What are message goals and how do they work?

Message Goals provide the ability to influence the desired outcome of a message. Message goals are automatically assigned based on the segment a user is in, but can be updated based on circumstances.

What is the client data section and how does it work?

The Client Data section provides insights into the types of client data that is available for the AI to use. These are often personally identifying information about a client’s name, package type or favorite instructor. The data values are then infused into the message by the AI

What happens when I regenerate a message?

After a client is selected to contact, Client Outreach powered by FitGridAI (beta) will automatically generate a message based on the client’s current segmentation, as well as the tone and goals of the message. This message preview can then be reviewed for accuracy and regenerated, if desired.

Re-generating a message will prompt FitGridAI to re-write the message using whatever configurable presets have been selected (for example message goals and tone). Messages can be regenerated an unlimited amount of times until it is ready to be sent.

Can I customize these pregenerated AI messages?

Yes. After a message has been generated, it can be edited. Content can be added or removed as needed. A common example of editing a message would be to add a link to purchase a package or a link to reserve a class. It’s also common for studio managers to have a relationship with the message recipient, and in this case the message author could add additional personalized content.

Why do FitGridAI Messages Take Several Seconds to Populate?

When FitGridAI is creating the response, it utilizes a method called streaming vs. a pre-generated message. Streaming is generally used to simulate a more human-like conversation experience. For FitGrid AI, by streaming the user is able to start reading it sooner, as the message is generated, which can take several seconds. Additionally, streamed responses are less likely to overwhelm the user with too much information at once.
