What is Data Diagnostics?

Data Diagnostics provides a clear view of client behavior and studio performance, highlighting key KPIs like conversion, return rates, visits, and lifespan to guide data-driven decisions.

Essential Definitions

  • Lead - User who has created a new account, but has not booked a class

  • Client - User who has created a new account, and has booked a class


Dashboard > KPI Tiles

  • Lead Conversion Rate (in Last 30 Days): Percentage of converted leads to total leads during the last 30 days

  • New Clients (in Last 30 Days): Number of new clients acquired in the last 30 days.

  • 1st Time Client Return Rate (in Last 30 Days): Percentage of clients who attended their first class during the last 30 days and returned.

  • Total Visits (in Last 30 Days): Number of client visits during the last 30 days.

  • At-Risk Clients (as of Today): Clients whose most recent 30-day attendance decreased by more than 50% compared to the previous 30 days.

  • Average Lifespan (Since Oct 2022): Average total days clients are considered active since Oct 2022, measured as the difference between their first visit (since Oct 2022) and last visit.


Dashboard > Benchmarking Comparison

The Benchmarking Comparison section shows how your studio’s KPIs stack up against others in the same modality. It highlights:

  • Your Studio: Actual results from your data.

  • Avg in Modality: Typical results across all studios in selected modality

  • Top 10% in Modality: Results from highest-performing studios the modality

Use the modality filter (e.g., Cycling, Barre, HIIT) to see how your performance compares in different areas of the industry.


Leads Section

The Leads section shows how leads enter your studio, how many convert, and where opportunities for improvement exist.

  • Lead Conversion Rate: Percentage of converted leads to total leads

  • Total Leads: Number of accounts created that have not attended a class yet.

  • Converted Leads: Number of accounts that attended at least one class.

  • Leads/People You Could Have Converted: Number of accounts that never attended a class.

Leads Benchmarking Comparison

  • Compare your studio’s conversion metrics like Lead Conversion Rate, Total Leads, and Converted Leads, with the average in modality and the top 10% in modality.

Chart + Client Details

  • Converted Leads by Date: Shows how many leads were converted over time.

  • See Clients Details: Clicking this button opens the Converted Leads Details screen, which displays a table with client name, email, phone number, location, became-lead date, and conversion date.

  • To download the list details, click the 3 dots (...) at the top of the screen under "More Options" label


Engaged Clients Section

The Engaged Clients section shows how new and returning clients participate in your studio, tracking visits, retention, and long-term engagement.

  • New Client Rate (Out of Total Clients): Percentage of new clients compared to total clients.

  • Total Visits: Number of clients’ visits during the selected period in selected location(s).

  • 1st Time Client Return Rate: Percentage of clients who attended their 1st class during the selected period in the selected location(s) and returned to any location.

  • Avg Lifespan Since Oct 2022: Average total days clients are considered active since Oct 2022. Lifespan is the date difference between first visit (since Oct 2022) and last visit.

  • Client Rate That Only Came Once Since Oct 2022 (Lower is Better): Percentage of clients who attended only 1 class since Oct 2022 across all clients in the selected location(s).

Engaged Clients Benchmarking Comparison

  • Compare your studio’s engagement metrics like 1st Time Client Return Rate, New Client Rate, Client Rate That Only Came Once, and Avg Lifespan with the average in modality and the top 10% in modality.

Chart + Client Details

The Client Rate That Only Came Once by Month chart shows month-over-month trends of clients who attended only one class since Oct 2022. This helps identify patterns in client retention and spot changes over time.

Click See Clients Details to view a detailed list of client names, contact information, and attendance history related to the metric.

  • The list can be exported as a CSV for further analysis.
