Heatmap
Reading the Instructor Schedule Heatmap
Days of the week are displayed as columns (Mon–Sun).
Time slots are displayed as rows (hour by hour, 24-hour format).
Color shading shows usage:
Darker cells = higher fill rates (higher demand)
Lighter cells = lower fill rates (lower demand)
This gives you a clear, visual way to see when your clients are most likely to attend classes.
How Heatmap Works
Data Sources: The heatmap is powered by your studio’s class attendance data.
Fill Rate Visualization: Each cell represents a specific time/day slot.
The fill rate is mapped on a 0–100% scale.
White → Light Green → Dark Green gradient shows increasing fill rates.
Hover for Details: Move your cursor over any cell to view:
Class time slot
Average clients per class
Fill rate percentage
This lets you drill into the specifics without leaving the dashboard.
Using the Heatmap for Decisions
The heatmap can help you:
Identify high-demand slots → Add more classes or top instructors here.
Spot underperforming slots → Consider moving, consolidating, or cutting.
Balance instructor loads → Match instructors with peak or low-traffic slots.
Test new offerings → Try new class types in empty or lightly used slots.
✅ Tip: Use the heatmap regularly to spot trends over time (e.g., seasonal peaks, shifts in demand) so your schedule evolves alongside client behavior.
